The Gooch & Housego, Florida LLC cavity dumpers are used with Argon, Dye, and Ti:Sapphire mode locked laser. It is designed to be used inside the laser cavity and separate a single optical pulse from the pulsed energy circulating in that laser cavity and re-direct it to a different optical path. The Gooch & Housego, Florida LLC pulse picker product is used, typically, external to a laser cavity and is designed to separate a single pulse, from a train of laser pulses up to 100 MHz pulse rate, and re-direct it in a different optical path.
